Twelve South's BassJump is a genuine subwoofer in a diminutive aluminium case. It looks beautiful next to a Macbook and is completely bus-powered (USB). Using software (to be downloaded separately) it splits your audio between the Macbook's built-in speakers and the BassJump providing massively improved sound. The BassJump can be used with Macbook, Macbook Pro or the iMac - although its audio performance is optimised for the Macbook.

I had a few queries before making up my mind - after all it is difficult making an expensive purchase without physically seeing and hearing the product.

I contacted their online support with the queries - they responded promptly with helpful advice.

I was able to make an informed decision and I placed my order promptly.

Today my BassJump Sound System arrived with the courier. Wow - I love it's stunning design to match the MacBook Pro and what a difference!!

The Twelve South Bass Jump Sound System is a small but powerful star! Pure genius! Would like to add more than 5 stars.

It also came beautifully boxed and protected.

I would recommend this product to everyone.

Amazon's service and speed also deserves 5 stars!

This is a brilliant addition to the MacBook, just what the MacBook has been waiting for, it brings the sound alive.
Looks good alongside of the laptop matching it in design, a solid little piece of equipment to say the least.
Just one USB connection and you are there having rich sound from your computer. No mains plugs or extra cables.This will travel everywhere with me
now, even having it's own travel case, just brilliant !
