I bought the Avanti Pure after having struggled with a cheaper Internet radio. I find the Pure finds the wireless network at home very easily, connects to media servers in the home.
The quality of sound is very good, and the relationship with the Lounge website is great - updates to the radio immediately.
Delighted with the product which is solidly well made.

I waited with great anticipation for my Avanti Flo and its certaimlly a mixed bag of tricks
Lets get the bad over with first
On auto tunning the FM radio only picked up Radio 4 Now I live in a city and my old cheap radios have always worked fine. On trying to put the exact frequencies in which is quite difficult I receiced a very poor signal of the various stations which was basically useless
I haven't been able to get the media player working The website keeps saying its only compatible with xp and vista and I run windows 7 So thats useless
The DAB radio is fine with very good sound quality I have never had a DAB radio before and I was under the expectation that the whole point of it was that it would enable people to receive a large selection of stations Yet all I can pick up is 8 stations more than my old radio No wonder DAB has been so slow to take off
The internet radio is a joy easy to set up and the Lounge website is excellent Unfortunalelly the sound quality of some of the stations does not do the Avanti justice
The IPOD dock works fine and the sound quality of some of my CD collection is amazinglly good for a small box
For £224 I expect the product to do what it says on the box, If the product was faulty I would send it back and get something else

Wow, what can I say. This may be a considered puchase and I read up a lot befoe deciding to buy this unit. I am so glad that I did, set up was simple. Got it DAB radio within 2 minutes of plugging in. Got wireless connection very quickly with no hassle. The connection to The Lounge was simple. I'm too lazy to read instructions and this definitely was very, very easy without having to wade through loads of instructions.
The quality of sound is excellent both via internet and DAB. I have had a couple of dab radios and they have always been a bit crackly. Not so with this one crystal clear clarity. This sound is fab from all imputs including my ipod.
Can't praise this unit enough - easy and sounds fab, fab, fab. Well worth every penny.

I am very pleased with this beautifully designed radio. The sound is second to none and it looks good. Easy to set up.

Sound and streaming capabilities are generally good but the unit is let down by limited alarm functions (2 with basic settings unlike the cheaper Pure products who offer 4 more sophiscated alarm settings. Good display however too bright at night time on it's lowest setting, you can however switch the display off completly if required.
Problem however on occasion with the unit not responding to commands from either the remote or direct on the unit .
