 Warm overall sound but distorted bass November 19, 2009

I like this speakers for its usability and sound quality but to be honest, these speakers are not powerful enough to fill up a small room with warm sound and never expect to hear pounding bass from it, the woofer is worse, the bass is distorted heavily if you increase the sound without reducing the low frequencies in equalizer. But, I love the way they designed the product such as volume controls and the design. The built quality is 10/10. If you keep the bass part aside, the sound quality is superb, full of clarity and warmth. Overall, if you ain't a fan of booming bass, go ahead and buy these speakers.

A nice little set up.
Not ecstatic about the sound but for the size and mobility of this setup its a trade off I am happy to make. The design is good (works well with all my Mac stuff) and the construction is solid. When making the decision to purchase the main thing was that I got reasonable quality of sound in a compact and light weight arrangement and this system ticks those boxes.
