i bought these speakers in pc world two days ago for £60!! had the pc world man trying out all available speakers with his mp3 player and these were definately the best. was very happy to have them for £60... was a bit peeved when i saw them on amazon for £35!!!!! so grab a bargain, i don't think you'll regret it.

I bought these speakers because my built-in laptop ones just weren't doing it for me. As soon as I got them set up (which was extremely simple) and tried them out I was blown away; they reach a very loud volume. I love the bass control on the back of the subwoofer, although I always have it on full!
Very good value for money, look smart and great sound can't fault them.

These are absolutely brilliant. I actually purchased thse from a Comet store, and they were only £5 more expensive, but thats what you pay when you're impatient.
I actually went it to get the model down from these and the sales assistant pointed out the ones next to them which he said he had and they were really good, so i took my chances and got them (these) instead. And wow!
I daren't turn them up all the way, it hurts, but I have heard no distortion in them at all! The sound quality is epic on them. So far I've thrown Ke$ha, Micheal Bublé, James Last, Airborne and Ozzy Osbourne though them just to mention a few, and its brilliant everytime!
Would recommend these to anyone!!

a) When you play them at low volumes you have to turn the bass down too because it just drowns the rest...volume and bass controls are only slightly intergrated but just ind a level that you think works with quiet and loud and you'll be sorted then.
b) The subwoofer holds a lot of charge once you've switched them off. I found this out because when i went to unplug them, i lost grip of the plug and almost dropped it. When I caught it, I caught th whole plug in my hand, consequently they discharged themselves through me and left me all jumped up and with a tingly hand! Now i take extra care unplugging them and put the plug on the radiator before I do anything else!! Don't say I didnt warn you! It's perfectly safe though.....they not gonna kill you...its just kinda funny!!!
Reverse phsychology...: you DONT want these! ;) [I want a set in every room, even though i can hear them perfectly through the whole house! :$]
